AfriCamps at Magoebaskloof is located between Tzaneen and Haenertsburg in Limpopo, where 10 fully equipped boutique glamping tents overlook the mesmerising Magoebaskloof landscape. The tents are situated among lush gardens, farm dams, and exquisite bird species where birders, hikers and MTB enthusiasts can explore to their hearts content!

Day 1-3

Rest for the soul

The property is known for its exquisite gardens dating back to 1946. Cherry blossoms, crab apple trees, azaleas, African ferns, and Pin oaks invite you in, and the vibrant colours of Hydrangeas, camellias, irises and foxgloves that flourish during spring are sure to steal you over.

The abundant birdlife comes as no surprise, and guests can spot Green Twinspot, Barratt’s Warbler, White-starred Robin, Lemon Dove, the elusive Narina Trogon, and Half collared Kingfisher during their stay. Samango monkeys jumping from tree to tree and the cheerful whistling of farm workers adding to the calm garden atmosphere. Guests can expect a good rest for their soul.

Known for its exquisite gardens, vibrant colourful flowers and abundant birdlife are sure to promote relaxation.

Since childhood, it was my dream to travel the world and experience other cultures, religions and the ways in which others live.

In my early 20s, I embarked on my first adventure that lasted 4 years, starting with a 2-year working holiday in the UK. This became the gateway to explore the UK and Europe. After that, I took on another adventure on board a cruise ship in the Caribbean.

I am extremely passionate about travel and helping other people to experience what I experienced, something which ultimately broadened my horizons! I am proudly South African and nothing gives me more joy than to showcase my beautiful country for my fellow countrymen, as well as people from all the corners of the world.
