This adventure takes you to Kibale National Park, the primate capital of the world! Here, you will have the ultimate chimpanzee experience, closely witnessing their interactions in the wilderness. Kibale Forest National Park is found in the West Nile region, Kibale district, and is home to the biggest number of chimpanzees in Uganda! Because of this, on your tracking excursions, you will have over a 95% chance of spotting these incredible animals.

Day 1

TRANSFER TO KIBALE NATIONAL PARK

You have complete flexibility with regards to where you would like to start your adventure. We can accommodate collection from either Kampala, The airport, or even your hotel.

Once meeting your experienced driver guide, who will be able to share his knowledge on multiple aspects of the adventure ahead. You will then begin the journey to Kibale National Park, during which you will pass the most outstanding and engaging scenery. Sit back, relax and enjoy views of the beautiful plantations, and the most amazing landscapes.

The drive to Kibale National Park will take roughly 4-6 hours.

Observe the beautiful landscapes with your knowledgable Driver Guide, on route to Kibale Nationl Park.

Day 2

CHIMPANZEE TRACKING

After an early African Breakfast, the drive to Kibale National Park begins. Stopping at Kanyanchu chimpanzee tracking briefing point, to discuss the exciting plan ahead. During the Trekking, there will be plenty of opportunities to spot some rare and beautiful birds. This gives you the best of an African classic safari experience, which will engage all your senses and surely leave you in awe of our spectacular country.

The walk through the tropical forest offers the most outstanding views, as you encounter Our closest cousins, The Chimpanzee. For the avid birder, a sighting of The Tinker bird, The Great Blue Turaco, and many others are a possibility.

If luck is on your side, you may also spot other primates, like The Black and White Colobous monkeys, Varvet monkeys, and many others too!

Day 3

GOODBYES AND DRIVE BACK TO KAMPALA

Early wake ups in time for a delicious African style breakfast, final goodbyes and then begin the drive back to Kampala. You will stop for lunch en route, taking your last pictures of the magnificent landscapes that surround you.

Reaching Kampala in the afternoon, where again, we can accommodate a drop off at either The Airport or your hotel.

Uganda is a land locked country located in East Africa, and covers an area of more than 241,000 square Kilometres. With over 1078 bird species, an abundance of Wildlife including Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo, and many others. Uganda is also home to a number of primates; like the Chimpanzees - you will have a 95% chance of finding and engaging with them during your Chimpanzee Tracking activity.

More than 51% of the world’s Gorilla population also call Uganda home, most can be found in The Bwindi Forest National Park and Mgahinga National Park, both located in the South Western parts of the country.

We can organise combinations of experiences, including; Wildlife Safaris, Gorilla and/or Chimpanzee tracking safaris, Cultural tours, Hiking Tours, Boat Cruises etc.

Supporting the local communities: Our trips do not focus on profit but more so supporting and uplifting the Local Communities. We do this by assisting orphans, with help of school fees, shelter, medication and others facilities. Conservation: Another target is supporting the Conservation efforts in Uganda, protecting the wildlife, animals and trees that I hold so dear.

I believe that, when you travel to new places, you will be permanently changed by both the new environment and the chance to engage with new people. I love to share in these travel experiences with my guests, to watch them fall in love with my country and its people.

I speak both English and Swahili, but between my team - we can accommodate Tours in French, German, Dutch, Italian and Japanese!
