You will be transferred from Kigali to Nyungwe National Park, stopping en-route to experience the historical-minded exploration of Nyanza and Butare – visit the King’s palace and a traditional Rwanda home. View the uniquely beautiful architecture and enjoy traditional dancers from the museum.

At the Ethnographical Museum, receive an introduction to Rwanda’s kingdoms. After this, have some lunch before proceeding to Nyungwe Forest to check in to your hotel. This gives you some time to settle in and freshen up before an unforgettable coffee experience, from crop to the cup!

Accommodation

Overnight at Nyungwe Top Hill Hotel.

Early an breakfast at 5:30am before beginning your drive to the edge of the forest for your exciting Chimpanzee Trekking adventure. You may get the chance to spot other primates such as; the black and white colobus monkeys, mountain monkeys, vervet monkeys, olive baboons and many others!

After a delicious lunch, its time to view the forests from a completely different angle with a canopy walk. This enables you to view the thick Nyungwe canopy from a height 70 metres above the ground.

After your adventurous afternoon, we will transfer you back to Kigali.
