Itinerary

Day 1

Welcome to Rwanda!

Welcome to Rwanda! You will be met at Kigali International Airport by your hotel driver who will greet you with an extra ordinary welcome package. This demonstrating our unique service in the land of a Thousand Hills - Rwanda. From there you will be transferred to your hotel where you will spend your first night and enjoy your first African dinner.

Day 2

Canopy walkway Adventure

In the morning after a delicious breakfast, around 7am, your driver and guide will fetch you from your hotel and transfer you directly to Nyungwe forest for a fun filled Canopy walk way tour. Here, a bridge is 90 meters from the forest floor, giving you the opportunity to submerse yourself in the tree tops. From here, we shall continue our drive to Kibuye to spend the night.

Experience an adventure filled canopy walk way tour, witnessing the forest from 90 meters above the ground!

Day 3

Island Paradise

In the morning after your hearty African breakfast, you will depart for a full day boating experience along Lake Kivu - one of the biggest lakes in Rwanda. Here we shall visit different historical and beautiful islands such as the bat Islands, Monkey Island and Peace/Amahoro Island. After having lunch, you will be transferred to Musanze, where you will spend the night and enjoy a tasty dinner.

Day 4-5

Ibyiwacu Cultural Village Experience

This morning our journey begins after breakfast, as we make our way to The Ibyiwacu village, for a cultural village tour. At the village, you will have a wonderful, interactive experience, learning all about Rwandan traditions, cultural songs and dances too.

You will be given a chance to participate in some local dances as well as drumming - all while wearing traditional local “Umushanana” dress. You will be able to practice shooting arrows and attend a traditional healer's medicine show. You will also have the opportunity to sample local food and some traditional banana beer. From here, we shall drive to Kigali and enjoy some horse riding and a zipline adventure to finish off this exciting day.

The following morning after your last Rwandan breakfast, we will go shopping at the Biggest Rwandan local market before enjoying a traditional lunch. Thereafter, drive back to the hotel rest and finish any last minute packing, as you get ready for your flight home.

Participate in some local dances as well as drumming - all while wearing traditional local “Umushanana” dress.
