This whistle-stop Athens tour is packed full of all those must-see Athens spots as well as those hidden gems that can only be found with a local by your side. Dive into the very soul of Athens and discover exactly what makes this city so very special – aside from all that ancient history. Admire old and new architecture, and see a traditional Greek changing of the guard ceremony before finishing at Pnyx Hill, one of the earliest and most important sites in the creation of democracy.

You will have time to relax before we explore the mighty Acropolis at sunset and finish your day in Europe’s oldest capital with a walk around Plaka neighborhood! Your guide will make his first stop at the archaeological exhibits which were found in the excavations of the New Acropolis Museum area. Then you will continue walking on the pedestrian streets of Makrigianni and Dionysus Areopagitou str. nearby Plaka and the new Acropolis Museum.

You will enter the Acropolis from the south slope to skip the lines and avoid the crowds. Your ascent here begins while you are taking in the spectacular views of the city below. You will visit the Theatre of Dionysus, Asclepius Sanctuary and adore the Concert Hall of Herodes Atticus. Reaching Acropolis top point, your guide will give you a detailed explanation of the glorious monuments such as the Parthenon, the Erechtheion, the Propylaea, the Nike Temple, the Beule Gate, the Observatory, the Philopappos and the Mars and Pnyx Hills.

The first part of the tour finishes in the viewpoint of Acropolis and you will have free time to explore the hill on your own. The tour around Acropolis will last approximately two hours. Our guide is an awarded archaeologist with 25 years of leading guided tours.

Next, we walk downhill and visit Athens oldest neighbourhood, Plaka. Enter the most unique part of the city and discover with your knowledgeable guide, its tranquil, picturesque and mystic hidden corners. Anafiotika is located on a hill above Plaka district; for a while, forget the city sounds and get the feeling that you are walking through the alleys of a Cycladic island however, with a history of over 3.000 years!

Connect the dots between “yesterday” and “today” by letting your tour leader unveil unknown parts of history and significant details on historical buildings, beautiful old chapels and numerous monuments. Spend your first evening in Santorini as you wish, exploring the streets or enjoying some local wine at one of the many beautiful spots along the waters edge.

Then after breakfast, Your guide will pick you up from your hotel and we’ll head to Oia, easily the most popular village of Santorini due to its dramatic setting at the edge of a steep cliff and its charismatic beauty. Stroll around cobblestone alleyways with whitewashed houses and snap photos from viewpoints only locals know about.

It is no wonder that a few movies have been filmed in Oia, for its beauty is unprecedented. It is a synthesis of white-blue houses and churches, with pink and ochre details, “hanging” on the caldera, composing a colourful canvas that is difficult to put in words. It is a rather peaceful and idyllic village that comes alive during the sunset time.

At Oia we will stroll in the charming narrow paths, visit shops, galleries and the famous tiny bookstore of Atlantis. We’ll then move inland to the village of Pyrgos, the former capital of Santorini, where we’ll explore its pastel-coloured houses, blue-domed churches, and vineyards. Through winding pathways, we’ll walk all the way up the ruins of a medieval castle to admire amazing vistas.

Going downhill to the village, it’s time to relax your muscles in a lovely spot where you’ll snack on some local, seasonal mezedes (Greek tapas) such as tomato fritters, fava, white eggplant, cold cuts, and local cheese. Once you’ve filled your belly, we’ll head to our next view point at the edge of the island and admire Santorini’s unique Red Beach.

Next, we’ll stop at one of the oldest lighthouses in Greece, the Akrotiri Lighthouse, which dates back to 1892 and according to many, boasts the best views in all of Santorini!

At the end of this tour, you will have seen the most Instagrammable spots of Santorini!

The next morning, after a transfer to port, We lift the anchors at 09:00am heading to Rhenia & Delos islands, the center of the Cyclades and located few miles South-West of Mykonos. After approximately 1 hour sailing, we will arrive at the untouched island of Rhenia, separated from the sacred island of Delos by just a small strait.

Once we've dropped anchor in the idyllic bay surrounded by crystal clear turquoise waters, enjoy a refreshing swim. Snorkeling gear is also available on board for free use at your convenience. There is a wonderfully spacious outdoor environment on board which allows all our guests to never feel confined and gives the option to enjoy sunbathing on comfortable deck cushions. Tends for shadow from the sun are also available.

Lunch is ready at the ringing bell sound with a feast of traditional Greek flavours served with Mediterranean style buffet and a selection of complimentary wine, draft beers and soft drinks. After spending about 2 hours spent in the untouched islet of Rhenia, the next stop is Delos Island, one of the most important archaeological sites of Greek history for our Licensed Guided Tour. Our crew will help you disembark by a short tender ride to the small dock of Delos.

We spend about 11⁄2 hour with our professional English-speaking guide and you'll have about 30 minutes free time to explore the UNESCO-listed Island of Delos, visiting the museum, walking up Mount Kynthos (367 feet) and admiring the staggering array of ancient ruins. According to mythology, Delos is the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis, and the sanctuary to both gods serves as the centre of a large Hellenistic city of about 30.000 inhabitants.

At 03:30 pm to sail back to Mykonos. Arrival is around 04:30 pm. The shuttle transportation will be waiting for you. We will say goodbye in the Greek way with a farewell drink toast and returning home full of euphoria for having shared our Greece with you!

Then the next morning, prepare to explore Crete's most beautiful city! Experience the real Crete with a walk through one of its most picturesque cities. Escape the tourist traps and dive into secret corners and local neighbourhoods — each stop has a story to tell!

After the tour, feel free to wonder the streets and continue your exploration. You will have this evening as well as the nest day to experience Crete as you wish! You could potentially start with a stroll along the historic harbour, take a glass-bottom boat cruise or go diving to fully experience the magic of this coastal town. The Samaria Gorge trail is a definitive must-do for hikers, and culture vultures will have several small museums to choose from.

Get out of town and work your way down the road less travelled to the southern coast of Crete. You’ll meet your tour guide in Chania, and our tour will begin with a two-hour ride that will take us to a seaside village unknown to mass tourism. Upon reaching this small, sleepy village by the sea, we’ll start our adventure off by fuelling up on a light, organic breakfast made with local products.

After the olives, rusks, and cheese have quickly been devoured, we’ll head off to the ancient city of Lissos. We’ll walk in the shade of old pine trees on an easy trail before slowly trekking up a hill that will offer breathtaking views of the gorge beneath us and the turquoise sea in the distance. When the trees disappear and a barren plateau appears, the rocks will meet the blue sea, and we’ll see the ruins of the ancient Asclepieion. This healing temple was dedicated to the god Asclepius, and was built in the third century B.C.E.

You’ll have an hour to walk among the ruins and drink from the spring that gushes ‘healing water’ at the foundations of the Asclepieion. This is the very reason why Lissos was famous in the ancient world, and why it attracts hundreds of people every year. From here, we’ll spend about half an hour making our way to a sandy beach with fine pebbles.

We’ll spend two hours diving into the blue waters, or relaxing under the sun enjoying some fresh fruit. From the small, pebbled beach, we’ll embark on a fishing boat to continue our exploration of the South coast. Be amazed by the rugged shoreline, snap photos at sea caves and jump in crystal clear waters!

Our next stop will be a remote but quaint village where we’ll have the opportunity to enjoy farm to table recipes which pair well with a glass of raki after a hearty meal! In the evening, before we depart for Chania, you’ll be able to spend an hour exploring the coastal town of Paleochora. This tiny town has a cosmopolitan flair that you don’t want to miss out on!

By the end of the day, we hope you’ll agree with us when we say the best way to explore any place is to check out the unspoiled, local hang-outs and hot-spots that would be hard to find without a local tour guide. We also hope you’ll have discovered the inner explorer within you!

During this relaxing ride with your luxury air-conditioned minivan, you'll enjoy splendid views of the Saronic Gulf while passing through some of Athens most beautiful suburbs, including Hellinikon Olympic complex, Glyfada, Vouliagmeni, and Varkiza.

Arriving at the Cape Sounion, you will visit the 5th century B.C. Temple of Poseidon with its magnificent panoramic view of the Aegean Sea (on a clear day you can see at least seven islands). One of its columns has a graffiti left by none other than Lord Byron in the early 1800s. Cape Sounion has long played an important part in Greek mythology and history, and the first recorded mention of it occurs in the Odyssey, as the last safe landing before Poseidon scattered the returning Greek navy.

As the god of the sea, Poseidon was very important for ancient Greeks, and the scale of the Temple at Cape Sounion reflects that.

After visiting the Temple, filled from the beauty, the history and the culture of this site we will wait to admire one of the most amazing sunsets you could ever imagine. And when the sun begins to slowly touch the sea it is the perfect moment for a glass of wine, before returning back to your hotel.
