Day 2

Rasdhoo Dive site

A beautiful morning dive at North Male Atoll before making our way to Rasdhoo's Dive site.

Renowned for big fish and breath-taking underwater scenery, Rasdhoo’s diving is some of the best in the world. This tiny Atoll has found fame as one of the Maldives’ top locations for encounters with sharks - including hammerheads. Not to mention spectacular experiences with manta rays and schooling fish.

Day 3-4

Overnight at Ari Atoll

Spend the next 2 days diving the Ari Atoll. Whale sharks are the highlight in South Ari Atoll with a high chance of seeing whale shark and manta ray.

South Ari’s reefs, thilas and channels are justifiably famous for their beautiful underwater topography - Canyons draped with colourful soft coral, with dramatic overhangs. Along with the abundant and spectacular marine life.

Day 5

Crossing to Vaavu for a night dive

Start the morning with 2 dives at Ari Atoll before we head over to Vaavu Atoll for a night dive and anchor for the evening.

Vaavu is the least populated atoll in the Maldives and offers incredible diving and an authentic Maldivian atmosphere. With just five populated islands, this Atoll embodies tranquillity and tradition. The beaches are often quiet and dive sites empty – perfect for divers looking for a private experience. Vaavu delivers some of the best channel diving in the Maldives and one of its most exciting night dives with dozens of blacktips, nurse sharks and whiptail rays.

Day 6

Wild drifts & deep channels of South Male

There is more to explore at Vaavu this morning. This afternoon we will make our way across to South Male for a memorable experience.

Famous for its pelagic dives and it's Kandus. The South Malé Atoll or South Kaafu Atoll is one of the central Atolls in the Maldives, and is separated from the North Male Atoll by a deep Vaadhoo Candu channel.

On the eastern wall of the reef there are 6 channels. Diving in the South Male Atoll can spot pelagic life, many soft corals and caves, as well as one very good wreck. Eagle Rays, Mobula Rays, Tunas and Grey Reef Sharks are common sighting in the atoll's waters.

Greg Carter

Owner, Greg Carter, grew up on the California coast where surfing was THE sport, Beachboys THE music, and scuba diving was an adventure for those few brave souls. Greg's hero was Mike Nelson, played by Lloyd Bridges, on the TV show "Sea Hunt." Some 40 plus years later, scuba diving has made great advances in equipment and safety, but the same passion for adventure still lives in our hearts.

Fast forward 20 years from the days of "Sea Hunt" and Greg found himself at Jack's Diving Locker, Kailua-Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii, signing up for an open water scuba class. Diving became a real life adventure and a Rescue Diver card. After 10 years of diving the Hawaiian waters, Greg returned to San Francisco and founded the Oceanic Resource Foundation to pursue marine conservation and education.

With some 25 years of scuba diving under his weight belt, Greg continues the adventure with Liquid Diving Adventures, to share exotic destinations near and far and meet creatures large and small. From tiny lettuce slugs to whale sharks, gentle giants of the sea, we are amazed by every dive and the variety of life in the oceans.
