After warmup in Zagreb, the adventure starts.

On our drive to the beach, we will have a day stop in the mountains where we are going to raft on the Kupa river.

The magic continues when we set our campsite right at the spot where Učka mountain (protected nature park) leans on the Medveja beach. Cross the mountains on your way to the beach, while you are already there why not go rafting.

Escape your busy daily routine and the hustle and bustle of the city. The magnificent unspoilt nature that surrounds the Medveja and the closeness of the crystal clear sea make the perfect combination for an action-packed travel experience.

Go and explore beautiful small historic towns connected by the famous Lungomare coastal promenade, climb up the Učka mountain or join us on the optional tour “Truffle hunt” and visit the heart of Istrian peninsular. Truffles have a very pungent smell (which is the key to their taste!) - so much so that animals can pick up their scent even as they lie underground. Once the truffle has been sniffed out, the animal will alert you so you can dig it out. A truly authentic experience with the locals. Opatija in Croatia is a real highlight on the Adriatic coast and certainly one of the places most worth seeing in Kvarner Bay.

Already a trendy resort back in the 19th century, this pretty coastal town is once again in vogue today. Enjoy a wonderful nostalgic ambience with beautiful buildings and villas, whose history goes back to the Habsburg period.

Unique and probably one of the most beautiful attractions in Opatija is the Lungomare, the picturesque waterfront promenade, where numerous beautiful beaches invite to sunbathe, swim and relax. Enjoy the beach, eat in many great restaurants in the surrounding area.

Take a ferry ride and get to the magical Rab island. Rab Island is located in the Croatian region called Kvarner, halfway between Rijeka up north and Zadar down south.

Let's get exploring the national parks of Croatia.

After enjoying our beach adventures, it’s time to get up to the mountains, and out in nature.

We head to the Plitvice lakes, we will have a stop over and visit of National park Northern Velebit. “The Northern Velebit National Park is recognizable by its preserved biodiversity, richness of the natural phenomena and experience of pristine wilderness.

Once we get to the Gromovača peek (1676m) you’ll be able to see breath-taking views of north Croatian coastline, islands and Italy if it’s a clear day. Don’t worry we won’t climb that high because we will park our bus about 1500m above sea level. In the park we will spend about 6h don’t forget to charge your cameras!

By the time we finish exploring National Park Northern Velebit we head towards our hotel accommodation at Plitvice lakes where local cuisine experiences is waiting for us.

Today we visit one of Europe’s most visited National Parks Plitvička Jezera. This is a UNESCO protected natural phenomena that is a mind-blowing travel experience. The beauty of the National Park lies in its sixteen lakes, inter-connected by a series of waterfalls. It is set in deep woodland populated by deer, bears, wolves, boars and rare bird species.
The Plitvice National Park covers a total area of 300 square kilometers. For nature lovers, this is an absolute must experience.

The historic coastal city boasts all the amazing things Croatia has to offer, but without the hustle and bustle of larger cities such as Split.

Guarded by fortresses and home to some of the hottest parties of the summer, there was no doubt I was about to find some amazing things to do. Check out UNESCO protected monuments St. Jacob Cathedral & St. Nikola fort or all 3 fortresses in town centre of Šibenik. St Michael’s Fortress holds a number of outdoor concerts throughout the year, worth checking out. There are breathtaking views over the water and amazing sites are a must see.

On our way to Dubrovnik, we will have ½ day stop in Split. Here we will be awaited by the local guide who will show us around the historic city centre. When we say historic, we mean it! Split is a 1700 years old town. When Roman emperor Diocletian wanted to build a city to retire from Rome he chose-created a town Split. Did you know that in Split and Dubrovnik they filmed Game of thrones? Enough said, just don’t forget your cameras!

Welcome to Dubrovnik the Pearl of Adriatic! Here we are going to spend 2 nights. After dinner, we will go to the old town on a walking tour provided by a local guide.

Dubrovnik is so much more than snapping a selfie on some steps. Climb up Srđ mountain and enjoy the most beautiful views of Dubrovnik. Hike, drive or take the cable car to the top to enjoy the stunning views of Cavtat, Elaphite Islands, the Old Town of Dubrovnik and the spectacular city walls.

A highly recommended Kayak tour and seeing the city walls from sea side. You can spend the day wandering around amazing Lokrum island and enjoy incredible nature, botanic gardens, and free wild animals that wander freely on the island.

Climb up the city walls, take an optional Game of thrones tour.

We know it’s hard to decide what to do because Dubrovnik has so much to offer, so ask your trip leader and he will help you organize your time.

After breakfast, it’s time to hit the road back to Zagreb. Swap those numbers and say your goodbyes. Who said the good times must end? Keep the adventure going and enjoy Zagreb.

Zagreb is Croatia’s capital and largest city, marking the intersection between Eastern and Central Europe for more than a thousand years. For a modern capital Zagreb has a kind of small-town charm, with an expansive old hilltop district of cobblestone streets, a magnificent city to explore. The food and craft beer scenes are flourishing, museums pop up at every corner and artisan boutiques add to the city’s vibe. There is lots to experience in Zagreb as it is also full of parks, promenades and green walking paths, which balance out the urbanisation.
