Today arrive at Guwahati airport, received and then transferred to accommodation. Evening at leisure and overnight stay in Guwahati.

Today we will visit Kamakhya Temple and later drive to Kaziranga National Park (04 ½ hrs drive), on Reaching Kaziranga check into hotel and after lunch and refreshment talk a walk into an Assamese village. We can visit a local family and experience the culture and lifestyle of the people of Assam, evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Kaziranga NP.

Today you will go for safaris and elephant ride inside the national park. Early morning go for an Elephant ride (timing 5:00 AM/ 06:00 AM/ 7:00 AM) then return back to the lodge and after breakfast go for a Jeep safari in the Central Range of the Park for 02 ½ hrs, return back to lodge. After lunch and refreshment go for another Jeep Safari in the Western range of the park (timing 2:00AM / 3:00 AM) for 02 ½ hrs (also depending on the sunset as in winters the sun sets early in Northeast India), evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

Today after breakfast visit Kaziranga National Orchid and Bio Diversity Park – it houses a variety of Orchid from the region and showcases the tradition and culture of different tribes of Assam. After spending an hour in the park we will proceed to Jorhat ( 110 / 02 ½ hrs drive) and check into a Tea Bungalow, rest of the afternoon at leisure and if you want to talk a walk with a guide to nearest village that is also an option. Overnight stay in Jorhat.

Today after breakfast drive to Majuli 30kms 40 min to reach Nimati Ghat and 1.30hrs ferry to cross mighty river the Brahmaputra, reach Majuli and explore the Island and visit Vaishnavaites monasteries and enjoy a traditional Satriya dance show in Uttar Kamakalabari Satra, we will also visit the famous mask making monastery (Samuguri satra), later we will drive to Kamalabari Ghat and cross river Brahmaputra to reach Jorhat. Evening at leisure and overnight stay in a Tea Bungalow.

After breakfast drive to Sibsagar (60 kms / 02 hrs one way) and explore the monuments of the Ahom Dynasty who ruled Assam for more than 600 years. We will have lunch in Sibsagar and then proceed to Dibrugarh – the Tea capital of Assam, we will pass through many Tea Estates enroute. Reach Dibrugarh and check into one of the exclusive Tea Bungalow in the region, rest of the afternoon at leisure. Overnight stay in Dibrugarh.

We go for an excursion to also visit Namphake Village (2 ½ hrs drive). Explore the village with a traditional lunch of Thai community, evening return back to the tea Bungalow and overnight stay.

The Namphake village was established in 1850 A.D. With around 600 members, the phakial community in Namphake village is small as far as numbers are concerned. But they have maintained their culture and preserved their century old traditions, thereby making a vital contribution to the already diverse and rich Assamese culture. This Tai community worships Lord Buddha. There is a sprawling Buddhist monastery at the heart of this village. This awe-inspiring Tai-Buddhist religious citadel includes several stupendous monuments within its premises. There is a Buddhist Pagoda (a pyramidal tower with an upward curving roof) which was built in the late 30’s of the last century. A symbolic Ashoka pillar stands tall amidst all other monuments nearby.

After breakfast drive to Dibrugarh airport for onward destination.
