Day 1

Arrival at Kathmandu (1,360 m/ 4,461 ft)

Your wonderful trip to Nepal starts upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International airport, Kathmandu.

A Life Himalaya's representative will warmly welcome and receive you at the airport and transfer you to your respective hotel with our private vehicle. Check in at the hotel and relax until we meet later that day. In the evening we will be meeting at head office for a trip briefing and discussion. We will let you know the time of the meeting upon your arrival at hotel.

Day 2

Flight From Kathmandu To Lukla (2,810 m/ 9,219 ft) Trek To Phakding (2,640 m/ 8,661 ft)

Today, we take an early morning flight to Tenzing Hillary airstrip at Lukla at the elevation of 2810 meters above sea level. Lukla is the main gateway to The Everest Trekking region and is a beautiful mountain town.

We meet the rest of our trekking crew at Lukla and start our trek, passing through beautiful landscapes towards the village of Ghat. After having lunch at Ghat, we take a gentle descent, about one hour, to the small village of Phakding on the banks of The Dudh Koshi River.

Day 3

Trek From Phakding To Namche Bazar (3,440 m/ 11,286 ft)

After an early breakfast at the teahouse, we get ready to start the day. After approximately five hours of walking, we will be arriving at the capital of The Sherpa's - Namche Bazaar. Our spectacular trekking trail passes through several suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River, typical villages of Benkar, Monjo, Jorsale, lush green Rhododendron forest and Sagarmatha National Park. Once we reach Namche Bazar, we check into a guest house and relax

Day 4

Rest & Acclimatization Day at Namche Bazaar.

We are already at the elevation of 3440 meters, this is high enough for anyone to stay one extra day doing some side excursions for acclimatization purposes.

Acclimatizing here is an essential part of Everest Base Camp trekking as we will be trekking to a higher altitude in the Himalayas. Today, we hike to a higher elevation towards Everest View Hotel - the highest altitude placed Luxury Hotel in world; to see the close-up views of Mt. Amadablam and panoramic view of the world highest mountains including Mt. Everest. After enjoying lunch, we return back to Namche Bazaar for spending our night.

Day 5

Trek From Namche Bazaar To Tengboche (3870 m/ 12,696 ft)

Our day starts after having breakfast at the teahouse. Our destination today is towards Tengboche, which is about five hours above Namche bazaar.

Walking through the beautiful uphill trail, we ascend towards Tengboche village. Tengboche is a magnificent village of The Everest region with a charming spot of close views of The world’s highest mountains as well as renowned for the oldest and biggest spiritual Buddhist Tengboche monasteries.

Day 6

Trek From Tengboche To Dingboche (4,360 m/ 14,304ft)

The walk today towrads Dingboche is going to be around four to five hours. Our walk continues following the Imja Khola crossing the bridge to reach Orsho - where the way to Pheriche and Dingboche separates.

Following the Lobuche River we trek towards Dingboche. Dingboche is a beautiful village situated at the elevation of 4360 meters. On reaching Dingboche village, we check into a guest house and enjoy the magnificent and peaceful mountain atmosphere from there.

Day 7

Acclimatization Day at Dingboche.

We are high enough again to have another acclimatization day. Today we stop at Dingboche to ensure proper altitude acclimatization and staying active on a high altitude trek. Dingboche village provides us with some side excursions, then we will be hiking towards Nakarjun hill and return back to Dingboche to take a rest.

The hiking today will bring us some of the most spectacular sights of Himalayas from different angle.

Day 8

Trek From Dingboche To Lobuche (4,940 m/ 16,207 ft)

After our rest day at Dingboche, our beautiful trekking day starts with a morning walk enjoying incredible mountain landscapes and spectacular Himalayan views.

Our gentle walk takes us towards the Thugla - a perfect spot for our lunch. The trek today is taking us even closer to the enchanting Everest base camp. Then our trail joins up with The Thulga pass, with stone memorials of unfortunate climbers who lost their lives climbing the Great Mt. Everest, Lhotse and other high mountains. Eventually, after our nice walk, we arrive at Lobuche.

Trek From Lobuche To Gorak Shep (5,170m/16,961ft), Trek to Everest Base Camp (5,363m/17,595ft)

Today is the most fascinating and adventurous day! Today's walk takes us towards our main destination: Everest Base Camp. After walking on the Khumbu glacial path, we reach Gorakshep where we check into a guest house and leave our belongings, then prepare to leave for the Everest base camp. After having lunch, we start our walk towards The World's Highest Base Camp. We enjoy our base camp moments for a while and make our return journey back to Gorakshep.

Day 10

Hike To Kala Patthar (5,545 m/18,192ft), Trek To Pheriche (4,280 m/14,041ft)

We are going to be at the highest elevation of the trip today. Our day starts very early in the morning as we are hiking up to Kalapatthar for the most breathtaking view of the Mt. Everest and other mountains in the range and an incredible sunrise over the Himalayas.

We hike back down to Gorakshep and have our breakfast. After breakfast, we leave the guest house and start walking downhill towards the beautiful village of Pheriche.

Day 11

Trek From Pheriche To Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,286ft)

We are descending even further down today to Namche Bazaar. Today is a beautiful walk on mostly a downhill trail, passing the authentic villages of Pangboche, Debuche and Tengboche and incredible Himalayan landscapes of the Khumbu Region. We will be enjoying the natural and cultural wonders of this area before we reach Namche Bazaar.

Day 12

Trek From Namche Bazaar To Lukla (2,810m/9,219ft)

Today is the last day trek in the heartland of The Everest Region. We enjoy every moment of the last day of the trek in this region, as we pass through the beautiful landscape, suspension bridges and enormous Dudh Koshi River.

Once we reach Lukla, we enjoy our last night with our supportive trekking crew. We can go around Lukla town to explore some of its hidden secrets and cultural heritage.

Day 13-14

Flight From Lukla To Kathmandu

Today we take an early flight to Kathmandu, saying goodbye to The Majestic Everest Region. Once we reach the hotel and check in, you will have the rest of the day at leisure. The rest of the day is reserved for you, where you may do your personal activities like exploration of Kathmandu, souvenir shopping or find a trekkers’ massage to ease tied muscles.

In the evening, there will be a farewell dinner hosted by Life Himalaya in a typical Nepalese restaurant with cultural dance to celebrate the successful completion of our journey!

The next morning, a Life Himalaya representative will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure flight as per your flight schedule with warm greetings and hospitality hoping to see you again next time.

Final Flight to Kathmandu, with the evening to explore, followed by an authentic local Nepalese Dinner and Dance!

I was born in the remote village of Satyadevi in Dhading district of Nepal. I finished school level from Shree Bachhaladevi, higher secondary school in his own village. After finishing high school, I came to Kathmandu to join a college of Geography and travel/tourism, this also sparked my interest in trekking. Firstly, I started trekking as a porter and then I eventually became a guide. I used to work as a manager for 2 different companies, with my hard work, I am now the founder of my own company: Life Himalaya trekking!

I have been working in the trekking field since 1992. I have many years of experience in this sector. So, my friends, family and my fellow trekkers suggested that it was time to start my own company. I know how to treat my guests and how to give them the ultimate experience, my motto being “Serving my guests is like serving God”.

I speak multiple languages like English, German, Hindi, Nepali and another other 5 different local languages. I am a seasoned traveler myself, having traveled to different countries like Austria, Germany, Croatia, Slovenia, Italy and many others!

I have the experience of trekking these famous routes in the Everest region (Everest base camp trek alone more than 50 times) Annapurna Region, Langtang region, Manaslu Region, Ganesh Himal region, Makalu region, Kanchanjunga Region, Dolpo Region and many other hidden trekking routes. I am not only a good trekking guide but also an excellent climber. I have been to many famous trekking peaks like Mera peak (6,476 m in 1999), island peak (6,189 m in 2000), Yala peak (5,700 m in 2001) and many more!

I am not only interested in trekking sector, I am also a kind hearted, positive and helpful person. Because of this, I am now the president of Ganesh Himal Community Foundation. I donate the profits from Life Himalaya to the Ganesh Himal Community Foundation, this to help rebuild the earthquake damaged schools in the remote areas of Nepal, helping many livelihood projects.

I am an enthusiastic tourism entrepreneur, fully devoted to social work, an energetic person who, has a lot of experience in trekking, peak climbing and servicing Nepal Travellers. I love meeting people and travelling!
